Developmental Team
The Developmental Team is a part of our USA Gymnastics program.
They work on Levels 1 and 2 of the USAG system as well as
beginner and intermediate gymnastics skills they will need
for High School Gymnastics. The gymnasts range in age from
five to twelve years old and practice two days a week for
a total of 3 hours a week.
Pre-Competitive Team
The Pre-Competitive Team is the next step up from the Developmental
Team. They are also a part of our USA Gymnastics program.
They work on Levels 3 and 4 of the USAG system as well as
intermediate and advanced gymnastics skills they will need
for High School Gymnastics. The gymnasts range in age from
five to twelve years old and practice 2 days a week for
a total of 4 hours a week.
Competitive Team
The Competitive Team is a part of the USA Gymnastics program
and work on Levels 4 through 6 of the Junior Olympic USAG
program. At this level they begin to compete at USAG meets.
They also work on perfecting their gymnastics skills that
are needed for High School gymnastics. At this team, the
gymnasts range in age from five to eighteen and practice
2 days a week for a total of 5-6.5 hours a week.
Varsity Team
The Varsity Team is a part of the North Dakota Activities
Association and High School Gymnastics. They compete at
meets in the State of North Dakota and have up to 2 meets
per weekend during their competition season. Their competition
season runs from mid-November through the end of February.
At this level the gymnasts range in skill level from intermediate
to very advanced. Gymnasts have the option of competing in the Junior Olympic USAG program at levels 7-10. The gymnasts range in age from twelve
to eighteen years old and practice 4 to 5 days a week for
a total of 12 to 15 hours a week.
Hotel
- In your room by 10:30pm and lights out by 11:00pm.
- Room assignments will be made ahead of time. No Complaining
or switching will be tolerated.
- No Swimming or hot tubs before meets.
Traveling
- Riding with the team to and from meets is required.
Meets
- Help Support and give encouragement to all team members.
- Sit with the team during all events, even when you are
done competing, stay together as a team and give support.
- No going to the bleachers and sitting during competition;
you need to stay with the team until the meet is done.
General Rules
- Try to avoid caffeine and junk food the day of and the
day before a meet.
- Try to drink a lot of water and eat healthy foods.
- Dress up the day of meets. Try to look your best.
- Be patient with everyone, everyone has different moods.
