1. Show respect
to everyone and follow instructions given by all coaches.
2. Gymnasts will not use verbal harassment, name calling or
teasing.
3. Use equipment properly.
4. No chewing gum, eating candy or cough drops, or drinking
any colored beverage on the gym floor.
5. Show pride in our gym by keeping it clean and free of litter.
6. Parents and all children not participating in class are
asked to stay in the lobby for safety and insurance reasons.
7. Parents, siblings, etc. are not allowed to come into the
gym or yell across the gym to talk with their gymnast. It
is very distracting and a safety hazard. If you have an important
message that you need to get to your gymnast, please stop
by the front desk and ask them to bring a note out to your
gymnast’s coach. The coach will relay the message when
appropriate to do so. If your message is not important, wait
until practice is finished.
8. All parents of a gymnast competing in a home meet are required
to help setup and takedown.
9. If a gymnast does not attend school due to sickness or
injury, they are not allowed to participate in or come watch
practice/meets/events that day. If they come to the gym, they
will be sent home.
10. If a gymnast is having an issue with a coach or another
gymnast, please try to have the gymnast solve the issue on
their own by talking with the coach or gymnast. If this does
not work, then the parents can get involved by talking directly
to the coach they are having an issue with. If this still
doesn’t resolve the issue, then talk to the gym manager.
